Your not in Kansas anymore Todo! Cold water diving requires additional dive gear,
the ability to use it comfortably and safely, local knowledge regarding tides,
Pacific Northwest CURRENTS, depths and if you really want to enjoy the dives,
Drysuit training. Think about this, how much water is moving during a 12 to
18 foot tidal exchange at mid tide.
Drysuit diving is an extra piece of bouyancy equipment and will require practice
to attain a comfort level with your new dive gear. Plan entry level dives at first, as
a feet first ascent from 80 or 100 feet is not a good thing. Get Training in your
new drysuit. Drysuit specialty will be required to rent a drysuit from any agency
certified dive shop.
